چکیده
In this paper, we present a fully discrete second-order finite-difference scheme with fast evaluation of the convolution involved in absorbing boundary conditions to solve one-dimensional linearized Green-Naghdi system. The Padé expansion square-root function complex plane is used implement convolution. By introducing constant damping parameter into governing equations, convergence analysis developed when term fulfills some conditions. addition, stable and leads highly reduced computational cost low memory storage. A numerical example provided support theoretical illustrate performance scheme.

Discrete transparent boundary conditions for the linearized Green-Naghdi system of equations
In this paper, we introduce artificial boundary conditions for the linearized Green-Naghdi system of equations. The derivation of such continuous (respectively discrete) boundary conditions include the inversion of Laplace transform (respectively Z-transform) and these boundary conditions are in turn non local in time. In the case of continuous boundary conditions, the inversion is done explici...

متن کاملEigenfunction Expansions for Second-Order Boundary Value Problems with Separated Boundary Conditions
In this paper, we investigate some properties of eigenvalues and eigenfunctions of boundary value problems with separated boundary conditions. Also, we obtain formal series solutions for some partial differential equations associated with the second order differential equation, and study necessary and sufficient conditions for the negative and positive eigenvalues of the boundary value problem....
متن کاملHigh Order Absorbing Boundary Conditions for Elastodynamics
A high-order Absorbing Boundary Condition (ABC) is devised on an artificial boundary for time-dependent elastic waves in unbounded domains. The configuration considered is that of a two-dimensional elastic waveguide. The proposed ABC is an extension of the Hagstrom-Warburton ABC which was originally designed for acoustic waves, and is applied directly to the displacement field. The order of the...
متن کاملLocal Absorbing Boundary Conditions for a Finite Element Discretization of the Cubic Nonlinear Schrödinger Equation
We consider in this work the initial value problem for the one dimensional cubic nonlinear Schrödinger equation. In order to integrate it numerically, one option frequently used, is to impose local absorbing boundary conditions. A finite element discretization in space of the cubic nonlinear Schrödinger equation is considered along with the absorbing boundary conditions obtained for an analogou...
